Key Responsibilities Include:
Parkland County has a position available in the Public Works Department for a Maintenance Service Worker I, working from June to approximately August. Reporting to the General Supervisor, Facilities, you will assist facility staff in the day-to-day routine maintenance of the facilities. Routine maintenance includes changing filters, changing lights, painting, clean up, moving furniture and landscaping, as well as other related duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Mechanically inclined and familiar with basic hand tools.
General construction labour, painting, or building maintenance (commercial, residential, or farm) experience is an asset.
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. Upon hire, a current Driver’s Abstract and satisfactory driving record must be provided.
Rate of Pay:
$25.37 per hour
Hours of Work:
8 hours/day; 40 hours/week
This position is covered by the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local Union No. 955 Collective Agreement.
