Key Responsibilities Include:
This position is responsible for the safe transport, from door to door, of seniors and individuals with physical and/or cognitive disabilities, within the City of Leduc. This will include, but not limited to, interaction with Dispatch Services, maintaining work records, preparing reports, pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, cleaning, and, fueling of vehicles. Operators work in all types of weather and road conditions. This job is physically demanding and drivers are routinely required to lift up to 20 kilograms. If you have a strong customer services background, and have a minimum of one year safe driving experience then this is the opportunity for you!
Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Valid Standard First Aid certificate
• Valid Class 4 Alberta vehicle operator’s license or licensing equivalent
• Ability to complete criminal record, intervention and vulnerable sector checks
• Formal training/experience in driving and/or public relations
In addition to above qualifications, selected applicants will be required to successfully complete:
• Class 4 written test
• Class 4 medical exam
• Class 4 road exam
