Beaver County is a rural municipality strategically located in central Alberta, an easy driving distance from Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Vegreville, or Camrose. Within our boundaries lie the urban centres of Tofield and Viking and the Villages of Ryley and Holden, all of which offer an array of recreational facilities, schools, and the comfortable atmosphere of small town living. The County is home to over 5600 residents including approximately 100 residents in the hamlets of Bruce and Kinsella.

Beaver County is in an excellent financial position with a 2021 budget of more than $27 million supported by an assessment base exceeding $1.2 billion. The County’s diversified tax base ranges from acreage development in the west, to mixed farming in the center and east, to oil and gas industry in the east.
