Lac Ste. Anne County is seeking a qualified Human Resources professional to join the Corporate Services Team.
Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services, this position provides strategic consultation to the Senior Leadership Team on a wide range of Human Resources programs including employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance management, organizational design, change management, learning and development, legislative compliance, and workplace wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs.
Contributes to the strategic direction by developing, implementing, and evaluating corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.
Support leadership through advisory services regarding corporate policies and procedures, employee relations, performance management, recruitment and selection, disability management, training, and development.
Develop corporate training and development initiatives to support strategic goals and succession planning.
Oversee the employee complaint management process resolving employment issues, overseeing disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as required.
Oversee the performance management process, provide support where required and work with management team as it relates to performance rewards or improvements for employees as required.
Support onboarding by establishing and coordinating orientation processes and identifying training programs.
Ensure legal compliance on HR matters by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and provincial requirements
