We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Guest Services Supervisor.

About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager, Customer & Membership Services Coordinator this position provides friendly, courteous and professional service when assisting customers in person and on the phone with membership purchases, registration processing and general facility, program and schedule inquiries. The Guest Services Supervisor actively promotes City of Leduc recreation facilities and services and provides guidance to staff in identifying moments of opportunity to provide value-added program and membership recommendations in order to find the most appropriate solutions to meet the customer’s needs.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage Guest Services team members in accordance with City of Leduc policies
Inventory ordering and control
Provide administrative support to other LRC departments
Develop and foster positive customer relationships through professional, courteous, and efficient service
Supervise during extended hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Ensure cash drawers are balanced to transaction records, transaction records are filled and distributed to the proper areas as per balancing procedures
Ensure the efficient and accurate completion of all basics customer transaction requests such as membership sales, program registration, and transit sales
Ensure appropriate use of facility by patrons and guests and ensure facility guidelines and rules
You are the successful candidate for this position if you have the following:
A High School Diploma. Completion of a diploma-training program at a college or a technical training school is an asset
Minimum of three years of customer services experience, including cash handling experience and knowledge of MS Office Suite
Have 1-2 years of supervisory experience is an asset
Able to multitask, including responding to situations simultaneously
Experience in the recreational environment, working with recreation software and First Aid/CPR certificate are assets
Must have the ability to work flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends
Must be willing to provide a current Criminal Records Check-Vulnerable Sector at own expense
Must be fully immunized against COVID-19 and be willing to provide proof of immunization, or provide written approved exemption on the basis of a protected ground under the AB Human Rights Act
