The City of Cold Lake is looking for a candidate who possesses exceptional multitasking skills and has the ability to successfully manage multiple projects. The incumbent must be able to remain open-minded and positive. The successful candidate must be trustworthy and able to deal with confidential and/or sensitive information.
The successful candidate will have a University Degree or College Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, a P. Eng or C.E.T. professional designation, 5-10 years’ infrastructure services experience, and 5-10 years’ supervisory or management experience, including 5 years’ experience in a senior role preferably within a municipal government setting. Post-secondary education in disciplines such as business or administrative management, leadership, or human resources management, and/or National Advanced Certificate in Local Authority Administration (NACLAA) is desirable. Practical knowledge and experience in computer systems for business applications, as well as knowledge of the Municipal Government Act and municipal operations are also required.
