Under the leadership of the Director of Public Operations, the Fleet Manager is responsible for establishing and managing a preventative maintenance and repair program. This includes the maintenance of heavy, medium, and light duty vehicles and other equipment to ensure a safe and efficient fleet. The Fleet Manager is also responsible for a multi-year capital plan for the procurement and purchasing of vehicles and equipment to meet County levels of service.

This role works closely with all departments to ensure availability of equipment required to meet County objectives. The Fleet Manager must be both personable and professional with all stakeholders.
