- Working level understanding of financial databases, software applications;
- Post-secondary degree or diploma [Commerce, Business, Management, Economics and accounting courses];
- Up to 3 years previous experience/financial system experience;
- Proficient level and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Statistical analysis, research, reporting skills, effective problem-solving ability;
- Attention to detail, high level of accuracy;
- Effective organization and time management skills;
- Adaptability and flexibility to work on concurrent projects and meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated well developed oral, written and presentation skills; and,
- High level of project planning, record keeping and report writing.
Assets:
- Previous municipal government experience.
- Professional Accounting designation or student.
