If you enjoy the challenges of financial analysis and have a passion to research trends and data forecasts, and prepare financial reports for key decision-making, then we want to hear from you! Reporting to the Manager, Financial Services, this position works 36.25 hours/week, Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime to meet year-end requirements may be required. This is a permanent full-time position.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Working level understanding of financial databases, software applications;
Post-secondary degree or diploma [Commerce, Business, Management, Economics and accounting courses];
Up to 3 years previous experience/financial system experience;
Proficient level and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Effective organization and time management skills;
Adaptability and flexibility to work on concurrent projects and meet deadlines;
Demonstrated well developed oral, written and presentation skills; and,
High level of project planning, record keeping and report writing.
Previous municipal government experience.
Professional Accounting designation or student.
