Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Social Work, Human Services, Education or Health Care is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in this field.
- Current/updated Suicide Intervention and Standard First Aid and CPR.
- A Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector) and a Prior Involvement Check will be required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Case management/professional documentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and be detail orientated.
- Time management, goal setting, planning and implementation are key skills.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Applicant must have a reliable vehicle with business insurance, as this position involves travelling to schools and surrounding areas.
The salary range for this position is $57,379 - $67,141. Athabasca County offers an excellent benefit package and contributes to the Local Authorities Pension Plan.
