A social or human services discipline diploma along with five years of relevant experience is required. Experience facilitating and training groups with adults, youth and children as well as dealing with mental health issues, vulnerable populations, pre/post-natal and high-risk families is needed.
Flexibility to be able to work evenings and weekends along with a valid driver’s license and personal transportation is imperative in order to accommodate the needs of clients, residents and community partners throughout the County. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, first aid and CPR certification are also required.
The knowledge of services provided by community agencies and experience working with them would be considerable assets.
