Requirements:
We are looking for someone to join our Facility and Property Services team, who is experienced in the use of hand tools and power tools and will provide excellence in customer service, while following City of Leduc safe work practices and procedures. The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma, or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of experience working in building maintenance or building mechanical; experience with recreation facilities is preferred. A Class 5 driver’s licence, aerial work platform operator ticket, fall arrest and restraint certification and Standard First Aid and WHMIS are required. Building maintenance 1 and 2 certificates would be assets. Must have the ability to work flexible shifts, evenings and weekends and participate in the on-call rotation as required. Weekend shift is Thursday through Monday with Tuesday and Wednesday as days off. The successful candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain a RCMP Enhanced Level Security Clearance.
This position has been deemed safety sensitive and as such is subject to pre-employment and post-incident drug and alcohol testing.
