Parkland County has a Permanent, Full-time position available for an Executive Administrative Assistant to the General Managers. Under the direction of the General Manager, Corporate Services Division; General Manager Strategic Initiatives; and the Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Administrative Assistant provides support services to their three Divisions. Support to the General Manager includes calendar management, daily planning preparation; organizing meetings; and managing their emails as needed. This position also prepares various meeting agendas and minutes and manages Executive Administration records as Designated Records Contact. This position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and communicate comfortable with staff.
Rate of Pay: $57,940 to $72,430 per annum. Hours of Work: 7 hours/day; 35 hours/week. Benefits: Extensive benefits are offered including an option to join our Earned Day Off Program.
Completion of high school supplemented by post-secondary administrative assistant training or equivalent. An Administrative Excellence certificate is desirable.
Five (5) years’ previous administrative assistant experience with two (2) years at a senior level.
Experience in a public sector environment would be an asset.
Experience with agenda preparation and minute-taking is essential.
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, and proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, is required.
Possession of a valid Alberta driver’s license and satisfactory driving record is required.
