Enforcement Services Summer Officer

The Town of Morinville has a challenging opportunity within the Enforcement Services division for a temporary full time summer position.

Key Responsibilities Include:

The Summer Officer will work side by side with the Community Peace Officers and will report to the Enforcement Services Supervisor.

Primary responsibilities will be to provide support in the areas of awareness and enforcement of Municipal by-laws and general administrative duties.

Requirements:

Current enrollment in post-secondary educational program for law enforcement or associated field is preferred,

Dedication to excellence in customer service,

Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail,

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office programs,

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with and access to a personal vehicle for business related purposes,

The successful candidate will be required to provide a clean Driver’s Abstract,

The successful candidate will be required to successfully obtain and sustain Solicitor General Security Clearance and an Enhanced Security Clearance through the RCMP.

Additional Job Information:

Salary Range: The term of this temporary position will be approximately 13 weeks, within the period of May 2019 through August 2019. Regular hours of work will be 7 hours per day/35 hours per week; working evenings and weekends may be required. The hourly rate of pay is $20.00 per hour.
