Economic Development Administrative Coordinator

Key Responsibilities Include:

Maintain records and report tracking in CRM System for Economic Development Department.

Act as liaison for AIHA coordination for Economic Development Manager, Senior Business Development Specialist and Sturgeon County Council and Administration.

Assist with logistics for investor meetings and interactions.

Assist with the coordination of Business Visits for the Economic Development Manager and Senior Business Development Specialist (if required).

Act as the Department’s first point of contact for incoming Economic Development inquiries.

Assist with the organization/logistics of events that focus on/in Sturgeon County (ie: AirShow, Canada Day, etc.)

Aid in the development of promotional content for Sturgeon County which may include contributions to the Economic Development website, newsletter, among others.

Prepare and distribute agenda package; take and prepare minutes; coordinate Recommendation to Council letters; coordinate Requests to Present to Council; and prepare and complete expense claims for all Economic Development Advisory Board meetings.

Prepare expense claims and Procurement card expense claims for Economic Development Manager and Senior Business Development Specialist.

Assist with the preparation of Request for Decisions for Economic Development Manager and Senior Business Development Specialist.

Requirements:

Your competencies include:

excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.

strong communication skills

proficiently skilled in Microsoft Office programs, which include Excel, Word and Access with an eye for detail. Need to work efficiently and effectively independently and in a team environment.

This position requires:

Post secondary certificate in Office Administration

3 years of relevant experience.
