Director of FCSS

We’re looking for someone that understands the mandate of family and community support services to assess community needs and support individuals, families and communities through preventative social programs and services, and models respect and resiliency through their leadership to take on the challenging role of Director of FCSS (Family and Community Support Services) for the Town of Sylvan Lake.

Key Responsibilities Include:

The Director of FCSS leads, manages, mentors and directs the FCSS Division to achieve the strategic goals of the Town to build a sustainable & growing community with an exceptional quality of life through implementation of Departmental Work Plans with a commitment to excellence in municipal government and customer service.

Requirements:

If you have a bachelor’s degree and eight years experience in social work, Sociology, Human Services or a related field, with at least 5 of those years in a supervisory capacity, along with experience developing and managing complex budgets, grant funding, building teams and effective employee relations, please see our website, www.sylvanlake.ca, for more details and how to apply.
