Director, Facility and Property Services
Permanent, full-time – 35 hours per week
$124,105.80 - $155,009.40 /annum

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Director, Facility and Property Services.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Reporting to the General Manager of Infrastructure and Planning, the Director, Facility and Property Services, provides direction and is actively involved in the provision of building operation and maintenance services, building construction and renovation, project management and property management.
The Director, Facility and Property Services is also responsible for the oversight of Procurement Services for the City.
This position is also responsible for the long-term strategic planning related to land acquisition and disposal and the planning of future facility needs and upgrades to the requirements of the City of Leduc.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in Facility and Property Management with related progressive experience in senior management roles. The candidate will possess a journeyman certification in one of the building trades, formal training in project management, and certification as a Facility Manager or eligible for certification. Experience in the construction industry, is required. Experience with contract management, OH&S requirements, contract negotiation and procurement is also required for this position.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a RCMP Enhanced Level Security Clearance; having a current clearance would be an asset. Certification or eligible for certification as a facility manager in the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) would also be considered an asset.
