Key Responsibilities Include:
Parkland County has a permanent, full-time position available in the Planning & Development Services Department for a Development Planner II – Land Use Bylaw. Reporting to the Senior Planner, Development Planning, the Development Planner II – Land Use Bylaw will assist with the update and maintenance of the County’s Land Use Bylaw, including researching and drafting amendments, public consultation, and Council approval. This position will also be responsible for carrying out the duties of the Development Authority related to processing major development permit applications. This position is responsible for the effective implementation of development planning processes and Land Use Bylaw administration.

Rate of Pay: $79,064 - $98,830 per annum
Hours of Work: 7 hours/day; 35 hours/week
