This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a good working background of facility custodial requirements, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Basic computer skills are required to monitor various systems. Power Engineer certificate, experience with Microsoft programs, Angus Anywhere and Worktech/Pearl are all considered assets.
Work may be performed in extreme temperatures or high levels of noise. Physical job requirements: Require lifting and carrying of up to 75lbs, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, crawling, ladder climbing and exposure to outdoor conditions.
This position requires a valid Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator’s Class 5 license, Defensive Driving Certification and an acceptable Drivers Abstract.
Operates a variety of equipment and tools in an office and workshop environment. Your competencies include the ability to communicate effectively, work independently as well as in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects. Must be self-motivated with good time management skills. A strong willingness to learn and be available after hours as required are also keys to success in this position.
Hours of Work: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
