Key Responsibilities Include:
• Preparing the census (creating maps and tracking systems to monitor coverage)
• Hiring and training enumerators
• Supervising enumerators.
• Ensuring all enumerators complete their assigned areas
• Informing residents about the census
• Ensuring data security measures are in place
• Undertaking quality assurance activities
• Collecting and analyzing census data
• Provide regular reports and updates to Manager, Legislative Services
• Responsible for using confidential information appropriately, and maintaining the confidentiality and security of all information related to the County
• Reporting census results to Municipal Affairs
Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Project management experience
• Experience in census projects with thorough knowledge of census work
• Must complete a satisfactory criminal record check
• Familiarity with Sturgeon County and the ability to read maps
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
• Must have a valid Class 5 license, regular access and use of a vehicle and a cell phone
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings and weekends
