Our ideal candidate will be a fully-trained and certified ACP; Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal and public relations skills and the following emergency services certifications and training are required:
- Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics as a Paramedic (ACP);
- Current Liability Insurance
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS);
- Valid Alberta Class 4 driver’s license
- Driver’s license must have less than seven demerits;
- Minimum Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent; and,
- Successful applicants will become member of IAFF Local 4739
- Must be fully immunized against COVID-19 and be willing to provide proof of immunization, or provide written approved exemption on the basis of a protected ground under the AB Human Rights Act
Successful candidates will be required to provide a current criminal record check with the vulnerable sector that is satisfactory to the City of Leduc. Employment is conditional on the successful completion of the pre-employment drug test. All Documentation is required to be presented at the interview stage.
