Key Responsibilities Include:
We are currently recruiting for the right person to fill the position of Business Solutions Intelligence Coordinator. This position is responsible for leading and directing the business systems and analysis activities in the areas of data analytics and metrics optimization. The Coordinator will be responsible for developing new procedures and processes with the end goal of increasing revenues, efficiencies and collaboration within the division and across functional areas as well as ensuring data integrity and accuracy for social projects funded through federal and provincial grants. The Coordinator will support staff in expanding data analytics, and system support (including online) and putting the data collected to practical use by informing business decisions and reporting to government agencies.
Ideally to fill this role you will have a University undergraduate degree in Business, Business Intelligence or related field. A minimum of five years’ experience in business, data analytics, or systems analysis a including a broad range of knowledge in data analysis, systems management, enterprise systems and process improvement and management, previous experience in other municipal environments is beneficial.
In addition you will have:
Managed medium to large system implementation projects.
5 years working in complex computerized/information systems environment
Previous experience with Intelli, SWIT, SmartSimple and Efforts to Outcomes database is an asset
High level of business acumen, specifically in the areas of communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
Ability to translate technology into business value for a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to develop and analyze business processes, involving critical thinking, solution development and cross-functional understanding
Flexibility to work with changing service needs and priorities. Ability to process a high volume of information within tight deadlines.
Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.
Experience in training and managing staff performance.
A demonstrated ability to work independently using initiative to prioritize and complete complex tasks and workload efficiently in a multi-tasking, team-based environment.
