The successful candidate will possess a college or technical school Diploma in a related field, with a minimum three years’ progressive experience in special projects and/or administrative support roles.
- Experience working in a municipal government, recreation or community development area is an asset. Skill for independently prioritizing, planning, coordinating, organizing, and monitoring multiple organizational projects simultaneously and quickly adapting to changes in time frames.
- Knowledge of modern methods of office administration.
- Excellent proofreading skills, and it relates to grammar, spelling, punctuation, business letter and report writing.
- Ability to take, transcribe minutes and summarize discussions.
- Considerable knowledge of software applications, particularly MS Office Suites including Outlook Excel, Word, PowerPoint and virtual meeting platforms, specifically Zoom. Must be willing to provide a current
- Criminal Records Check.
