RMA Insurance is pleased to announce the presentation of RiskPro 2019, to be held this April at three locations within the province.
To take advantage of preferred rates when booking accommodations from these hotels, please state that you will be attending the RMA RiskPro 2019 workshops and the dates of your stay. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Karen Ankerstein at 780.955.8409 or at karen@RMAinsurance.com.
In response to overwhelming member feedback, we are offering a full two-day insurance and risk symposium that will offer a wide variety of content applicable to more departments throughout your organization, including continued risk management training and a revisit of insurance fundamentals. Our goal is to provide education to help members better prepare to navigate the sometimes complex and confusing world of claims.

RiskPro 2019 continues where RiskPro 2017 left off and explores and explains the often-confusing world of claims.
Remember you are already purchasing insurance products and practicing risk management every day. The intent of this symposium is not to add extra procedures, processes, and costs to your municipality, but rather, it is intended and designed to help you improve the insurance, risk management and claims processes that you already have in place.
This year, it is recommended that your organization have these roles and departments participate:
Insurance & Risk Management
Fleet & Equipment Operations
Health & Safety
Parks and Recreation
Implementing a successful risk management program requires the understanding and assistance of an entire organization, especially that of the CAO, senior administrators, and management.
The agenda and speaker’s biographies will be available in March 2019.
Appreciating that these workshops are often a busy event, and to ensure everyone the opportunity to ask the one on one questions with RMA staff or presenters, we encourage everyone to attend the networking at the end of Day 1.
