The ideal candidate would have the following:
- High school diploma is required. Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology from accredited post-secondary institute would be considered and asset.
- A minimum of five (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity.
- A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in construction and maintenance of roadways and working with asphaltic materials.
- Training or experience with the use of Asset Management Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience using Maintenance Management Systems and GIS software is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain and effective, courteous, and tactful relationship with internal and external contacts.
- Must have a Class 5 Driver’s License. A current Driver’s Abstract must be provided.
The total rewards package for this position includes:
An hourly rate of pay of $38.77 to $48.46 per hour, working approximately 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week.
