After a light breakfast sponsored by Kal Tire, we will set out from their Red Deer location (address below), and ride to Starland County for a wind-up BBQ! We will be collecting donations at the start of the ride that will go to a local children’s charity ($20 minimum).
RMA and AUMA, with support from Infrastructure and Asset Management Alberta (IAMA), are excited to bring you one-day and half-day asset management workshops for elected officials and senior administration and two-day workshops for municipal staff!
All workshops are geared towards rural and small urban municipalities with limited asset management experience.

On the day of the workshop, registration will begin 1 hour prior to the beginning of the course. For courses that start at 8:30am, registration will begin at 7:30am. Please bring writing utensils with you.

Delegates from member municipalities around Alberta were invited to hear plenary speakers, participate in breakout sessions and vote on the resolutions that guide RMA's advocacy efforts. Kelly J. Lendsay is internationally recognized as one of Canada’s foremost innovators of Indigenous workplace inclusion, diversity, and corporate engagements. He has brought his message of the power of relationships and partnerships to morethan 250 audiences in Canada and abroad. As the inaugural President and CEO of Indigenous Works (formerly the Aboriginal Human Resource Council), Kelly has worked to grow and engage corporate Canada in Indigenous workplace inclusion since 1998, developing the council into an ISO-certified national social enterprise. He leads the council’s new national charity, Kochita, designed to empower Indigenous youth to reach their resource and career potential. He has also served on more than a dozen corporate, crown, and non-profit boards in Canada and won a 2015 National HR Award for Best Diversity Program.
