- Certified Alberta Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician.
- Emergency Vehicle Technician certification [willing to attain].
- Class 3 Driver’s License – including Air Brake endorsement [Class 1 is an asset].
- Alberta Commercial Vehicle Inspection program [asset].
- Previous experience in gasoline and diesel engines, starting systems, steering and brake systems, operating systems of various sized trucks, trailers and equipment.
- Competent welding experience.
- First Aid/CPR certified or eligible.
- Excellent physical health in order to provide a full range of physical motion to meet job demands.
- Trouble-shooting, analytical, problem-solving skills and abilities.
- Customer-focused/willingly assist others.
