Technical Lead, Application Management

We are currently recruiting for a permanent, fulltime Technical Lead, Application Management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Services and Analytics (ESA), the Technical Lead, Application Management is responsible for developing and managing the application management framework which includes standards, processes and best practices for managing enterprise systems. This position supervises junior ESA analysts and summer students. This position will focus on integrating data and software systems to improve quality and efficiency across the organization and managing projects and leading the implementation or development of business applications. This position also performs analysis of workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with corporate applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with team members to assist in the analysis, design configuration, validation, testing implementation, documentation, support and problem resolution of the business applications.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information systems, Computer Science or a related discipline. A diploma and equivalent years of experience will be considered. Certification related to ITIL 4 framework and project management are considered assets. Experience with related geographic information systems would be beneficial but not required. For this position, a minimum of five years’ experience managing and supporting enterprise applications and three years’ experience in a lead role as well as three years’ experience in project management, processes and tools is required. You will have experience in managing business and functional requirements. This position requires someone with excellent analytical, conceptual and critical thinking skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively consult with clients on business processes. As part of the hiring process you must be willing to provide a current Criminal Records Check.
