A degree in Library Sciences for Information Management or related degree/diploma in Information Governance or Computer Sciences, with a minimum of three years directly related experience is required. Attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a solid understanding of municipal government operations, functions, classification systems and experience using information management software is required. Knowledge and experience with the MGA and FOIP regulations is an asset.
This position requires working knowledge of enterprise information management systems within a digital/paper environment. This position requires knowledge of information management regulatory bylaws, acts and policies applicable to the County. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft data management environments, electronic records management systems, document management systems and other related desktop applications is required. In addition, this position must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to maintain positive relationships and encourage program participation. This position is required to have effective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed to manage multiple priorities. Must be able to lift boxes that weigh approximately 25 lbs.
