Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a diploma in graphic or web design, or in a related field such as marketing or communications, and minimum 2 years’ experience in a graphic design role. Experience working in a recreation and/or municipal environment and familiarity with facility operations/events planning is an asset. High proficiency in computer literacy with experience in adobe creative suite, web content management systems, social media, Google AdWords, and MS Office. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Creative ability with knowledge of layout, graphic design and application to web-based material. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively. Knowledge of graphic design and digital media industry trends, developments and opportunities. The successful candidate will also provide a current Criminal Record Check as part of the hiring process.
